We are going to write a robot controller using the Webots robot simulation environment. Each group would write a controller for a robot. The three robots are in a maze and their goal is to find the red target. Movement of the robot causes it to loose energy. It can replenish its energy by using one of the green chargers. The robot has IR distance sensors and a camera.
You should install the webots program. Download it from here. Then register your program and write that you are participating in this course (with an EPFL mail address).
The sample world we are using is here and the supervisor controller for this world is here. In addition you may want to look on this simple robot controller. You should put these controllers and world into your own webots directory and compile the controllers.
